York Early Music Christmas Festival 2013 (6 - 15 December)

Highlights of the 2013 York Early Music Christmas Festival will include instrumentalists Brecon Baroque, directed by violinist Rachel Podger (Sat 7 December, Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall) in a programme of JS Bach, Corette and Marais; vocal ensemble Alamire directed by David Skinner presenting 'There is no Rose' (Sun 7 December National Centre for Early Music) and The Sixteen directed by Harry Christophers in a programme including Britten's 'Ceremony of Carols' (Thurs 12 December, York Minster).
