CONCERT HIRE

The NCEM offers a unique performance space for a variety of different artists

Based in the heart of York city centre, the NCEM provides an ideal location for public performances. The venue offers excellent acoustics, pre-set theatre lighting, black-out facilities, recording equipment and is an entirely flexible performance space that can be adapted to meet a variety of needs. We also have a range of keyboard instruments available for hire.

We will provide a Duty Manager and at least two Stewards for your event. The NCEM is able to sell CDs and other merchandise on the day of the concert (subject to commission). We can also offer a Box Office Service selling tickets online, over the phone and in person in advance of the concert (please note additional charges and terms and conditions apply - see the hire pack below for further details). If you choose to use our Box Office Service for events presented at the NCEM, we are also pleased to offer one feature in the 'Also at the NCEM' section of our e-newsletter (date agreed by arrangement) and one social media post on the NCEM Facebook and Twitter channels one week before your event. Please note: whether you chose to use our Box Office Service or not, you are responsible for all your own concert promotion and marketing.

The NCEM is registered with the Performing Rights Society and therefore we must charge you royalties for the performance of copyright works.
