Join us to hear Eboracum Baroque performing 'The Story Orchestra: Four Seasons in One Day' featuring music from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and narration from this much-loved book, illustrated by Jessica Courtney-Tickle.
Telling the story of a little girl called Isabelle and her dog Pickle who take an adventure of a lifetime across the changing seasons, we’ll hear how Vivaldi makes the Spring blossom, we'll feel the Summer’s heat, gather in the Autumn harvest and gasp at the cold of Winter. Filmed at the NCEM, and available here free of charge, Eboracum Baroque have prepared a host of related activities for primary aged youngsters to enjoy – see below.
