Following the release of their debut album Still Life, Música d’Outrora bring to life music that
defined a century of transformation — when art sought to move the soul and illuminate the divine.
This programme traces the stylus phantasticus across Europe, from the daring sonatas of Dario
Castello in Venice to the expressive richness of Stradella, the luminous virtuosity of Albertini,
the devotional intimacy of Buxtehude, and the meditative brilliance of Gregorio Strozzi.
Exploring a sound world where reason and passion, sacred and secular, converge, the ensemble
reveals music as a path to emotional and spiritual transcendence — a still life in sound, alive with
contrast and imagination.

This event is supported by Continuo Foundation and the Gemma Classical Music Trust.

Please note there is a £1.50 administration fee per transaction.
