By contrast to the sacred programme that opened the festival, Ensemble Molière complete their residency with an attention-grabbing programme of theatrical music, embodying the grandeur and drama of the French Baroque with music by Rameau, Couperin, Rebel and Lully.

Ensemble Molière is the first ensemble to be chosen as the New Generation Baroque Ensemble supported by BBC Radio 3, the Royal College of Music, and the National Centre for Early Music.
