Hiscox Insurance will be the main sponsor of the York Early Music Festival in a new three-year partnership, starting in 2017 which celebrates the Festival's 40th anniversary.
Phil Thorn, Head of Direct Home Insurance, Hiscox UK, said that as a major employer in York, Hiscox are committed to supporting the community in which they operate and playing an active role. They have a long-held passion for the arts, as do many of their customers and are delighted to be involved in the Festival.
Delma Tomlin, Director of the National Centre for Early Music which runs the York Early Music Festival, welcomed Hiscox Insurance and extremely pleased that they would be part of the celebrations in this significant year. The Festival was established in 1977 and York was chosen as host venue due to its many architecturally significant guildhalls, churches, and the jewel in the crown - York Minster. The music performed covers the period for 1250 - 1750 and audiences have had the privilege to hear talented musicians perform from all over the world.
The York Early Music Festival is also supported by Harrowells Solicitors; JWP Creers (Accountants) and the Shepherd Group.
Schroder Financial Management continues their support of the Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival.
If your company would like to support either the York or Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festivals, please contact Delma Tomlin at email@example.com or ring 01904 632220 to discuss opportunities.
