The Cobra Club - Concert Saturday 26 October 2013
Join Snake Davis and students from Burnholme Community College and Joseph Rowntree Secondary School for a showcase extravaganza to mark the end of a 6-week jazz project run by Music4U and the NCEM. The project has involved 50 students, a mixture of instrumentalists, singers and dancers who have been working together to form a new Snake Davis band.
Helped by musician and teacher at Burnholme Community College, Sue Williamson and newly graduated Leeds College of Music students - Declan Forde Will Howard, Angus Milne and Matt Parkinson - the newly formed band have learnt some of Snake's material, jazz pop and soul standards and also have written their own songs. Music lovers, Snake fans, families and friends are all welcome.
Tickets will be available to purchase in September.
